This plan applies to university policy, practice and delivery of services and commits the University to remove the barriers people with disability often face when it comes to accessing and succeeding in tertiary education. It also aims to encourage the employment of people with disability at all levels of the university.

This two-hour workshop takes an intersectional approach to accessibility and will develop your capacity to adjust behaviours and have critical conversations.

From Teams and Zoom meetings to large scale hybrid events, the Events hub will help ensure your communications and events are welcoming, fully accessible and inclusive for all.

‘Doing Research Inclusively’ is a set of principles and practical strategies developed by UNSW’s Disability Innovation Institute for every step of the co-design process in research.

Support for students

Educational adjustments can make completing course requirements more manageable. More than 1,000 students currently receive assistance because they have a disability or caring responsibilities.

Students with Disabilities Collective

Led by the SRC for all disabled UNSW students, including those living with mental health conditions, neurodivergent people, and those with a cognitive, intellectual or physical disability.

This student-led project aims to elevate neurodivergent student voices in university course design by co-designing a toolkit of inclusive modules and resources for UNSW's teaching staff.
