The Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity, UNSW, will be holding its Annual Forum at the Tyree Room, John Scientia Building, UNSW Kensington on Tuesday 27th August 2024 from 9.00am to 1.30 pm, followed by a light lunch. Ian Webster “Health for All” Oration will be presented at the Annual Forum following by other presentations and discussion on new and current directions in CPHCE research. The CPHCE Forum is an annual opportunity for friends and colleagues to catch up with CPHCE’s research, provide input into our future directions, and network with primary health care professionals from all over Australia.

Emeritus Prof Mark Harris's retirement event was held on 7th December at the UNSW CBD campus.

In a rapidly evolving field, I will attempt to summarise what we currently know about COVID-19 and smoking, what we can infer from analogy and from common sense. We can then discuss working hypotheses moving forward and actionable suggestions on messaging for prevention, clinical risks and post hospital care.

Thirty-four people attended the half day research priorities forum on Tuesday 16 July 2019 organised by the Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity, UNSW in collaboration with Sydney Local Health District (SLHD), South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN).

SLHD EquityFest is an opportunity to move forward by raising awareness, creating new avenues and opportunities for working together and to celebrate successes. The 2019 EquityFest will focus on People, Place and Partnerships.
