Are you interested in defining our future? Are you a young leader? Join the Alliance for Healthy Cities Young Leaders Network
The Alliance for Healthy Cities (AFHC) Young Leaders Network is a collaborative space for young professionals and students to discuss the issues facing their cities and work together to act upon the identified issues.
Joining the network will provide the opportunity to build professional connections, share insights from your diverse experiences and explore visions for future urban centres.
Our aim is to design a dynamic and sustainable trajectory for the cities of the future, with a holistic perspective on planetary health.
The Network is affiliated with the AFHC but we are an independent body open to all young professionals and students from any background who share our aspiration for healthier cities.
The Network held its first meeting in June 2024 and was officially launched at the 10th Global Conference of the Alliance for Healthy Cities in Seoul, on 26th September 2024. Already, it has more than 40 members from across 8 different APAC countries, including Fiji, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Australia.
Membership is free and the benefits are many, including:
In Australia, the UNSW Cities Institute facilitates the Young Leaders Network with the assistance of CI team members Scientia Academic Dr. Jinhee Kim and Project Administrator Ardra Meletath, and UNSW students Tim Atkinson, Timothy Hutton, Anil Babu and Brahada Shanbhag.
