The St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research conducts world-class applied medical research across the broader hospital campus and beyond. We work to realise our goal of applying discoveries to cure patients and improve their quality of life.
We are located in proximity to the Garvan Institute of Medical Research Institute and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, amongst others, together forming the St Vincent's Research Precinct, with significant shared services and scientific resources. We are also home to the NSW State Reference Laboratory for HIV at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
