As well as leading socio-legal research in Australia, UNSW Law & Justice is well recognised throughout the legal profession and the international community.

Many of our legal scholars carry out this multidisciplinary research through the lenses of the humanities, social sciences, political science, philosophy of law and criminology. This study makes an analysis of the legal and justice systems with a sociological perspective. Our scholars publish widely and often participate in international socio-legal societies and conferences.
