UNSW Law & Justice’s global presence is strengthened by the close relationships and partnerships we have with international associations, leading institutions and prestigious law schools from around the world.

The Asian Law Institute (ASLI) was established in 2003 through the efforts of several leading Asian law schools to foster Asian legal scholarship and to facilitate greater interaction amongst legal scholars in Asia as well as legal scholars outside Asia working on Asian law.

The mission of the Asian Law Schools Association (ALSA) is to uphold and enhance excellence in legal education and scholarship. It aims to do this by providing a platform for collaboration and mutual support, while upholding core values such as academic freedom, rule of law, diversity, fairness and justice.

The Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London is a one-of-its-kind global partnership in legal education, encompassing students and faculty from 21 world-class law schools.

UNSW Law & Justice is a member of the Law Schools Global League (LSGL), a global cooperation that was instituted in 2012 by a selected number of leading law schools. Its primary aim is to promote and foster scholastic research on law and legal education globally, as well as encourage collaboration among its members in the debate on issues impacting global law or legal practice.

New Silk Road Law School Alliance (NSRLSA)

New Silk Road Law School Alliance (NSRLSA), one of the important Sub-Alliances of University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR), aims to provide a platform to conduct bilateral and multilateral cooperation in areas such as law education and research. In 2021, the NSRLSA plans to hold Dean's Forum to share information on global legal education and cutting-edge research.

The PLuS Alliance combines the strengths of three leading research universities on three continents – Arizona State University, King’s College London and UNSW Sydney – to solve global challenges.
