Artist statement

'Split' is an expansive textile work comprising of a variety of fibre-based techniques ranging from appliqué to embroidered stitching. Through a vast selection of symbolic codes and diverse methods, this work investigates the complex and dynamic nature of temporal queer narratives and initiates a broad dialogue that surrounds imaginative approaches to redefining transient felt experiences as meaningful, formative truths.Ìý
