Engineers Without Borders UK's newest Change Maker

In 2019, Judy Raper left her life in Australia behind to become the CEO and Dean at TEDI-London (The Engineering & Design Institute London.

From assembling the perfect team to attracting the diverse minds currently studying there, Judy shares the journey to creating TEDI-London.

The Poverty and Inequality Partnership between ACOSS and UNSW casts a light on the widening wealth gap and its causes in a new report, Inequality in Australia 2024: Who is affected and how. The report found that the average household wealth of Australia’s highest 10% is growing much faster than the lowest 60%.

EDI-London was launched in March 2020 with a mission to transform engineering education. Through these efforts, Prof Raper has built something truly special out of this partnership, paving the way for future engineers to make their mark within the industry and tackle the biggest global challenges.
