Dr Yan Kei Chiang
I am a Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Information Technology, UNSW Canberra. My research is focus on metamaterials operating in acoustic domain. I have theoretical and experimental expertise in designing acoustic metamaterials, exploiting their intriguing possibilities to engineer waves in unprecedented ways. I have been working on noise control and structural health monitoring for many years, which enable me to apply the outstanding metamaterials for different engineering purposes ranging from micro-electro-mechanical systems to medical science. I am a member of thedzܱ.
