Dr Shota Yokoyama
Dr Yokoyama received a B.E. degree, a M.E. degree and a Ph.D. in Engineering at the Department of Applied Physics, the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2010, 2012 and 2015. He was a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow for Research Abroad at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from 2015 to 2017. He has joined the School of Engineering and Information Technology in the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia, as a Visiting Fellow (2015-2017), as a Research Associate (2017-2020), as a Lecturer (2021-2022), and as a Senior Research Associate since 2022.
His current research interests are in experimental quantum optics, quantum information and quantum computation. His works include continuous-variable quantum teleportation, generation of squeezed states and cluster states in the time domain, measurement-based quantum computation, quantum detector tomography, and quantum coherent feedback control.
