Dr Ron Chan is a Senior Lecturer and Education Focused Academic in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. He specialises in using cutting-edge educational technology to enhance student learning experience. Dr Ron Chan teaching philosophy focuses on training students to perform beyond industry best practice, by encouraging students to think critically and methodologically when solving open-ended problems.
Postgraduate Coursework Coordinator
Dr Ron Chan holds a pivotal leadership roles in the School, serving as the Postgraduate Coursework Coordinator. He works closely with the Engineering Faculty to develop curricula and strategies that ensure high quality education delivery. Dr Ron Chan was also responsible for leading the 2021 Engineers Australia (EA) Accreditation process of the Master of Engineering (8621) Program in the School.
