Prue Vines is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, UNSW, Sydney andÌýI have been a member of the Law Faculty since 1990.
My major areas of interest are torts ( especially attribution of responsibility in negligence and apologies in civil liability) and succession law. (wills and estates - in which I am especially interested in the making of culturally appropriate wills for Indigenous people.)Ìý I have been the co-Director of the Private Law Research and Policy Group at UNSW. Other interests and publications are in the areas of legal system, statutory interpretaion and unexpected consequences of compensation law.Ìý I am happy to entertain questions about supervision of Ph D's in these areas.Ìý
