Dr Paula Jops

Dr. Paula Jops is a Research Fellow within the Asia and Pacific Health Program atÌýthe Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. She has a cross-disciplinary background in anthropology, development studies, and public health. Paula has worked on projects related to tuberculosis, HIV, cervical screening, refugees and forced migration, and sexual and gender-based violence. She has conducted research both locally andÌýinternationally, most recently in India, Thailand, and Papua New Guinea. Paula is currently working on two NHMRC funded projects, 'Understanding the socio-cultural dimensions of tuberculosis in Papua New Guinea: knowledge to optimise public health solutions', andÌý'Supporting Choice: Equity in access to HPV testing for cervical cancer screening among under screened and never screened women and people with a cervix in Australia.'Ìý
