Prior to joining rCITI, he was appointed as a research associate in Singapore where he was involved in delivering various industrial projects, mainly in collaboration with Singapore transport authority in the field of driver behaviour analysis, traffic modelling, and demand estimation for first-last mile active mobility (walking and cycling) trips in anticipation of a bicycle sharing scheme. In rCITI, his research area delves into the advancement of connected and automated vehicles (CAVs), particularly by studying drivers’ behaviour in automated vehicles and its impact on traffic safety and performance by utilising driving simulator equipped with automated car function and traffic simulation package.
He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, 1st class honours) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Master of Science (Transport) from Imperial College London, UK.
