Helena Granziera is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology in the School of Education. She is a former primary school teacher, and is the Program Director of the MTeach – Primary in 2024. ÌýHelena completed her PhD in Educational Psychology at UNSW under Scientia Professor Andrew Martin and Associate Professor Rebecca Collie. Her research focuses on the factors and processes associated with teacher well-being and motivation, and how these relate to broader school and student outcomes. Helena is passionate about positive health and wellbeing for teachers and how this can be promoted at individual, school, andÌýorganisational levels.ÌýHelena began her career as a health education teacher, and spent eight years teaching gifted and talented students in a NSW primary school. She has previously taught undergraduate units in Educational Psychology and postgraduate units in Educational Psychology, Human Development, and Primary Curriculum and Methods.Ìý
