In 2010 he was made a (AM) "For service to the law through the development of free electronic access to legal information, and as a leader in the protection of privacy." In 2017 he was elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law (FAAL).
In 2019 I am continuing research on the global development of data privacy laws and agreements, and working on an ARC-funded AustLII project: and on the on AustLII. My most recent book is G Greenleaf & D Lindsay (Cambridge University Press, June 2018).
