Dr Gemma Sicouri is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Clinical Psychologist at the Black Dog Institute.

She investigates the cognitive and familial factors underlying anxiety and comorbid conditions (e.g. depression) in children and adolescents to inform and evaluate the development of new and improved treatments. Her research uses technology to increase the accessibility and cost-effectiveness of evidence-based treatments for young people with anxiety and depression and for those at risk.
Before starting at Black Dog Institute, she held a Macquarie University Research Fellowship at the Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University.
