Craig Billingham is a writer of fiction and poetry. He is the author of two collections of poems (Storytelling, 2007; Public Transport, 2017) and a children's picture book (The Empty Jar, 2014), as well as numerous short stories, essays, and reviews. His work has appeared in many literary journals and magazines, including Southerly, Island, HEAT, Meanjin, Antipodes, and the Australian Book Review. Craig has taught Creative Writing at The University of Sydney and Western Sydney University, and he was assessed manuscripts and worked as a mentor for Varuna, The Writers' House. He has appeared at the Sydney Writers' Festival and the Melbourne Writers' Festival, and he has read at venues in NSW, VIC, SA, and WA. He is the recipient of grants and residencies from the Australia Council for the Arts, Gunyah, and Booranga Writers' Centre.
