My research is in theoretical and computational statistics. In particular, I am interested in Extreme Value Theory (EVT) with applications to extreme environmental events (floods, heat waves, air pollution, ...). I am also interested in Symbolic Data Analysis,Ìýan emerging field of statistics which aims at analysing data which arise (or are transformed) in a non-standard form.
