NDARC Webinar:
The Cannabis Growing Policy Landscape: Lessons from ACT
The Cannabis Growing Policy Landscape: Lessons from ACT
About this webinar
Governments around the world are considering changing the regulations around cannabis, leading to what some are calling a "legal green rush." After criminal penalties for cannabis use, possession, and cultivation were removed in Canberra, the DPMP conducted research with cannabis users and growers over a period of two years. This seminar will delve into the evolving cannabis regulations and the experiences of cannabis growers in Canberra following the reform. By drawing on insights from various perspectives, the seminar aims to provide valuable lessons for future cannabis regulation, as well as to offer insights for creating more inclusive, attentive, and participatory policy-making processes.
