Can you give a brief introduction?
I am a Nuclear Medicine specialist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, and a conjoint Associate Professor at UNSW. I am also the deputy chair of the Theranostics Subcommittee of ANZUP (The Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Clinical Trial Group).
As a clinician-researcher, my primary goal is to make meaningful contributions to improve the lives of patients affected by cancer.
Can you describe the research funded by the Cancer Theme?
My research project “Development of Novel Treatment Response Criteria in Prostate-specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) SPECT/CT for Optimizing 177Lu-PSMA radionuclide therapy in Patients with Advanced Prostate Cancer” funded by UNSW aims to pioneer a novel framework for response evaluation, developing an image-based criteria for predicting early treatment failure, facilitating personalized treatment, and ultimately enhancing patient outcomes in advanced prostate cancer.

The book I am currently reading is “The Daily Laws” by Robert Greene. I also try to improve my knowledge in Islamic contents that guide me towards being a better human being.
