The School of Mathematics and Statistics held its 11th annual Postgraduate Conference on Thursday 8 August 2024 at UNSW's Colombo Theatres.Â
The event featured 37 presentations, comprising research talks and lengthier plenary sessions, across Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, and Statistics.
Additionally, we introduced 16 new postgraduate students during a Hello Session where they each delivered flash talks about their research.
The three plenary sessions were delivered exceptionally by Agus Soenjaya (Applied), Christian Bagshaw (Pure), and Qian Jin (Statistics).Â

The day concluded with a networking reception in the Colombo foyer, allowing attendees to connect and unwind.    Â
