UNSW Canberra is taking the next step in the realisation of the UNSW Canberra City Master Plan with planning underway for Stage 1, and the community is invited to provide feedback prior to submission to the ACT Government and National Capital Authority.
The Stage 1 development includes the construction of two multi-use contemporary buildings that will host teaching and research spaces, retail offerings, cultural and student-focused spaces, and facilities for new and existing industry partners. Ìý

​Stage 1 is the first of four stages to be built as part of the UNSW Canberra City Master Plan. The Stage 1 development is located at the corner of Constitution Avenue and Coranderrk Street in Parkes.

Prior to work starting, this first stage will commence with the submission to Government. Following approval, detailed design will commence in early 2024, with construction also expected to take place next year. Stage 1 of UNSW Canberra City is anticipated to open in 2026.Ìý

Community Information Hub
The UNSW Canberra City Community Information Hub will be open each Thursday between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm until 14 December. Visitors can arrange a tour of the site, speak to a subject matter expert, provide feedback in person, and find out more about what UNSW Canberra City has to offer. The Information Hub is located in Building J of the CIT Reid campus, 37 Constitution Ave, Reid.
Saturday pop-up
On Saturday 2 December, you’ll find the UNSW Canberra team in front of the CIT Reid on Constitution Avenue from 9.00am to 11.00am. We’ll have plans available for you to view and you can provide any feedback you have for us on the day.
