About

Xinyue is a PhD student in the School of Information Systems and Technology Management at UNSW. In her PhD study, she is keenly interested in the design, deployment and use of digital technologies in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

One of her ongoing research projects aims to produce a Virtual Reality video that shows the authentic social environment experienced by people with physical disability, thus improving the public’s understanding of disability and calling for more enabling environments.
