Sarah Fleming

Sarah Fleming was a Diverse Learning and High Potential Coordinator across schools in Sydney for several years. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of all children, particularly those who are gifted she now works in the ACT in a Teaching and Gifted Liaison role. With a background in Early Childhood and experience working with gifted children across settings she is an advocate for these often under-served populations. Sarah uses many platforms to reach and empower those working with gifted students and has a strong interest in wellbeing for gifted students in schools. Sarah is currently completing research work with GERRIC (The Gifted Education Research, Resource Information Centre) at the University of New South Wales and strives to use her focus around gifted and twice-exceptional students to support and inform educators and families. Her current doctoral research is with Gifted students who have ADHD and their lived experience of social-emotional autonomy support.
