After completing a Bachelor of Arts (Gender, Sexuality and Culture/Philosophy) and a Bachelor of Laws, Molly was awarded first class honours for her thesis on norm entrepreneurship in international refugee law. Upon graduation, Molly completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and worked as a graduate lawyer. She then gained experience in several human rights and international development organisations in both policy advocacy and member compliance.

Currently, Molly is a Research Associate in the Department of Policy and Governance at the Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU. She is supporting the delivery of a co-design research project that aims to explore the experiences of young people with disability and young carers in relation to institutional listening.

Framed by a capability-based understanding of human rights, Molly's doctoral research examines gender inequity within personalization schemes, using the National Disability Insurance Scheme as a case study.
