Keryn is a Ph.D student in Applied Linguistics focusing on retention in digital learning environments and multivariate quantitative measurement in L2 acquisition research.

Before starting her Ph.D program, Keryn worked on developing educational technology, with a special interest in the language acquisition needs of developing countries, the global south, and the not-for-profit sector.

Keryn holds a Master of Applied Linguistics with first degree honours (Language Technology and Language Testing) from the University and Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.

Her research interests include learner retention, underprivileged EFL learners, learner strategies, educational technology, community of practice, quantitative measurement and meta-analysis.
