Chibuikem is a property professional specialising in property valuation and investment analysis. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Estate Management (property). Before commencing my PhD study, I worked in the property industry in Nigeria for four years as a property valuer and analyst, executing valuation for different types of properties and purposes. I am skilled in conducting property investment analysis and property market research.
My doctoral research focuses on how blockchain, as a proptech tool, can reduce clients' influence in property valuation in property markets with low transparency levels by moderating the valuation process.
I hold current professional membership/registration with the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria and student membership with the Australian Property Institute.
I served as the president of the African Students Union, the HDR representative on the faculty education committee, the faculty board and the University Research Committee for 2023.
