Aline Elias
Aline is a PhD candidate in the School of Management and Governance, UNSW Business School. In her PhD thesis, she examines the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices in sustainable development. Aline’s interest areas include leadership, HRM communication, employee behavior, and organizational learning.
Prior to joining UNSW, Aline completed her Master of Commerce in business at Macquarie University, Sydney. In addition, she is a certified HRM specialist with over 10 years of global industry experience. She consulted for and implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) projects in the civil aviation, banking, tourism, and other sectors. She also headed functions such as recruitment, performance, and reward. She implemented different initiatives such as internal equity practices, leadership competency frameworks, corporate dashboards, innovation reward programs and developed HRM policies and systems.
