Alice (Shuting) Sun is a PhD candidate at the School of Education, UNSW Sydney. She commenced her PhD study after graduating from bachelor's degrees in Education (1st Class Honours) and Commerce (Accounting) at UNSW.
Alice’s PhD research focuses on areas including assessment and feedback practices, higher education, and international students’ educational experiences, and is supported through an Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (RTP).
Alice is also an associate lecturer (education focused) at the UNSW Business School, where she is managing a teaching team of 25+ tutors and overseeing the academic progress of more than 3000 students each year. She has been teaching commerce and accounting courses such as Financial Management for more than four years.
