Internships are designed to build professional and management skills to enhance successful and effective transition to graduate employment.The  offers internship placements for current students who meet the minimum credit Weighted Average Mark (WAM).These internships are only available in a limited number of Co-op Program areas of study.

In addition to the Co-op Program, all students (Co-op and non-Co-op students) have the opportunity to gain work learning experiences by working directly with industry and community partners for Credit towards your degree via the UNSW WIL (Work Integrated Learning) program.

Recent UNSW graduates are working in financial services including life, general, and health insurance, superannuation, funds management, investment banking, data analytics consulting, risk management, regulation in Australia and overseas; and directing strategy and supply chain consultancies.

  • Energy and Environment Consultant, Data Analytics, Management Consulting, Credit, Market and operational risk management
  • Public Sector: Australia Prudential Regulation Authority, Risk Management and Analysis, Superannuation Consultant and Wealth Management 
  • Non-traditional areas such as IT, e-Commerce and Climate Change
