My research interests include anything marine ecology. I graduated Cornell University with a BSc in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Marine Biology. My undergraduate honors thesis with Professor William E Bemis characterized the dentition of Triggerfishes and Filefishes to draw comparisons to related fishes. I have some field experience working in rocky intertidal and sea grass beds, but I hope to do more fieldwork in other ecosystems in the future.

Project Description: Corals are highly sensitive to temperature stress, as evidenced by the growing number of bleached reefs worldwide. However, coral reefs are impacted by many local and global stressors, driving their decline. My research aims to gather the available research on coral health and examine how has coral disease changed throughout the increasing stresses from climate change, how has coral health research been conducted, and what are the outcomes from this research.
