Timothy Churchill
I'm a vertebrate palaeontologist with a special interest in extinct Australian carnivorous marsupials and how we may one day bring them back from the dead.
±Ê°ù´ÇÂá±ð³¦³Ù:ÌýRe-examination of the order Dasyuromorphia from Riversleigh
Supervised by:Â Michael Archer, Suzanne Hand and Ian Graham.
Project Description:Â My project involves describing a number of new extinct species of Dasyuromorphia from the Riversleigh World Heritage Area, and examining their phylogenetic relationships to other marsupial groups. My work also looks at how the shape of the skull and dentition relates to dietary function and bite force among metatherian carnivores.
