The study might be a good fit for you if you have high blood pressure and you would like to improve your physical fitness.
Participants need to live in NSW to be eligible to join the study.
Will I be paid to take part in the research project?ÌýÌý
If you complete the study and return the blood pressure monitor to us, you receive a $100 shopping card voucher. Participants who take part in an online focus group interview to share their experience of the study will receive an additional $50 shopping gift voucher.Ìý
If you decide to take part in the research, you would:Ìý
measure your body composition and complete baseline assessments onlineÌý
wear a watch-like device to measure your blood pressure for seven days at the start of the study, and seven days at the end of the studyÌý
(if selected at random) take part in a free personalised fitness program with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist for three months (online program)Ìý
if selected at random, continue your usual care for three months and contribute important data to our studyÌý
measure your body composition again, complete the final assessments online and send the monitor back to usÌý
receive a $100 shopping gift voucher as thanks for participating.
Invited participants can participate in an online focus group interview to share their experience of the study and receive an additional $50 shopping gift voucher.Ìý
