In the Human-Centred Computing (HCC) group, our goal is to build and design technologies which understand people, respond to their needs adaptively, and improve their experience. The advancement of human-computer interfaces and ubiquitous computing are changing the world, bridging the gap between our physical and digital worlds. Therefore, future computing devices should be designed around humans, ensuring that the boundaries of the digital world are further meshing with our physical world and allowing for more effective computer systems by taking social, personal, and cultural aspects into account. Our research areas include: social AI; affective computing; human behaviour analysis; human-computer-interaction (HCI); social signal processing; assistive technologies; mobile computing; pervasive computing; discreet computing, and adaptive learning.ÌýÌý
